Our retail area stocks a broad selection of soils, mulches, natural and organic fertilizers and pest control, garden gifts, lawn ornaments and pottery; in addition to one of the largest selections of indoor and blooming plants in the area.
Klein’s is also one of the oldest full service florists in Madison, serving the entire city and much of Dane County with daily delivery. Houseplants
We have an amazing assortment of houseplants ranging from the smallest plants for terrariums and dish gardens, to tropical trees, to succulents and cactus. Our knowledgeable staff will help select the perfect plant for any location and occasion, offering care tips and sound advice. We have an excellent selection of Tillandsia, commonly known as Air Plants. We also have pottery and baskets to complement any decor. And if your houseplants have outgrown their current pots, take advantage of Klein’s repotting services. We may be able to help you on the spot, but it is best to ask for 3 days between drop off and pick up. Our repotting fees are based on pot size and include soil and labor. If we don’t have what you want in stock or are looking for something truly unique, Klein’s ever helpful staff can suggest similar or seasonal alternatives or would be happy to check with our local suppliers. Special orders are always welcome.
Spring Plants
These lists are updated in mid-April of each year. The following are lists of plants being offered this spring season and was compiled using plants already in stock, listed on acknowledgments, or from orders placed but not yet received. We make every effort to update this list before posting it on our website at around April 15 of the current year. We do not update the list once the season unfolds. Before making the trip to Klein’s, we recommend that you give us a call to make sure that we currently have the sought after item in stock. Sometimes, we don’t receive ordered items on a consistent timeline or items may be substituted by our vendors at their discretion. There may also be unanticipated crop failures in a given year. And most common, we simply run out of product as the season progresses.
